Emilia Rivera (whose real name is Amanda Santana) returns to her native land with the clear intention of taking revenge on the people who caused the death of her father and destroyed their family. When Amanda was a little girl, her father got arrested, being falsely accused of a crime he did not commit; he was judged and convicted. In the end, he died in jail.
